About
My Story
Hi, I’m Hannah, the founder and crafter here at Bless Your Hearth Candle Company! As a 7th generation southerner, born in Northwest Georgia and currently residing in east Tennessee, it's safe to say that my roots run deep in the southern Appalachian Mountains. Each of my scents are representative of my personal experiences growing up in the South and this beautiful culture that is sometimes misunderstood.
.
The name Bless Your Hearth is a nod to the southern saying "bless your heart". The word "Hearth" primarily refers to the floor of a fireplace while it can also symbolize home and family life, as the hearth was historically the center of the home for warmth and cooking.
.
Like most people, I love all things that smell good! However, most store-bought candles give me headaches. After doing some research, I realized that there are a lot of ingredients in candles that can be toxic. That's when I decided to create a candle brand that not only focuses on amazing smelling candles, but candles that have the cleanest ingredients on the market. I make my candles using:
- 100% Soy Wax – renewable, clean-burning alternative to paraffin
- Phthalate-Free Fragrance Oils – safer scents without harsh chemicals
- No Added Dyes – just pure, natural color
- Cotton Wicks – no zinc, no lead, just a clean burn
.
With Bless your Hearth Candle Company, you can embark on a sensory journey through the south where you'll smell wild honeysuckle growing along a field, the warm breeze from a sunny day at the beach, the delicious aroma of sweet potato casserole, or the aged wood from a leisurely weekend at a mountain cabin. Choose how you want to explore the scents of South!
